JOB PURPOSE

We are searching for a Senior Marketing Specialist to join the Janes Marketing team, based in our Arlington Office, in Washington. The Senior Marketing Specialist  will report directly into the Chief Marketing Officer and will be responsible for developing and executing demand generation strategies which are critical to driving the commercial goals for the business. 

This role supports one of our core strategic business initiatives supporting lead generation, key account marketing and PR activities to drive brand awareness across our largest growth market the US. 

HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE AT JANES

  • Develop integrated marketing plans to drive business growth across our target regions, with a clear understanding of the market, future trends and audience buying behaviours.
  • To support the US PR strategy, incorporating planned, reactive and proactive PR, that raises awareness and changes perceptions of Janes amongst our target audiences
  • Support both inbound and outbound demand generation activities, developing campaigns that support product positioning, drive brand awareness, lead generation and create sales opportunities in both new and existing markets
  • Support the US events strategy across our core US events, including onsite set up and stand management.
  • Effective project management across teams, including ownership and adherence of timelines and accurately track and evaluate results on overall project goals
  • Stay aligned with industry best practise keeping abreast of the latest practices, technologies, and principles
  • Develop key account marketing plans with key account managers to support customer growth and retention
  • Utilising the marketing technology stack of analytical tools, track and analyse the delivery and performance of multi channel marketing activities and deliver an enhanced customer experience 

THE IDEAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE FOR THIS ROLE ARE

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant Marketing field of study or industry recognised qualification.
  • Proven working experience in a demand generation and marketing role with PR experience, with reference to content marketing, account-based marketing and digital marketing.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to master our brand voice.
  • Solid content management experience using CMS and Marketing automation system, HubsSpot, ideally familiar with Webeo, Drift and the latest marketing technology tools and capabilities.
  • Ideally familiar with the Aerospace, Defence and Security domain.
  • An analytical mind-set with a knowledge of industry reporting tools and the ability to create a narrative from raw data - presenting this back to clients and stakeholders in a compelling and convincing manner.
  • Solid understanding of commercial requirements and how to turn requirements into deliverable strategies.
  • Ability to manage and prioritise multiple campaigns, work to clear KPI targets and communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders across the organisation.
  • Creative and organized with strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and time management abilities.
